this crawler [tutorgig.com] was in my log files. it looks like they're using it to put some sort of tutorial directory [tutorgig.com] together. i searched for "seo" just to see what they had ;)

There's no url's and no real distinction between the search results. They need to change some descriptions so it looks less spammy.

Too many findwhat sponsored links on the top, too much info on the SERP page (very slow to load over a T1 connection) and the results are very, very crowded for the 'non initiated' like myself.

If nothing else, Google has taught every search engine something very important -> users need to be able to grasp, and quickly figure out how to use it, else they will feel overwhelmed, confused, and frustrated.

I know I did, when looking at that SERP, and most users, afaik, don't immediately proceed to the 'how do I use this?' section of a website.

Still, it is an interesting concept for a vertical engine.
