I'd like to get a site into search.MSN.com. Previously - over 18 months agao - I achieved this with two sites by paying through the nose for a Looksmart (god, the irony of that name) listing. This was a bit of a gamble, but the position of one of the sites in the SERPS is top 10 and it doesn't seem to move (so, not bad).
Anyway, much water has passed under the bridge and I've just realised how much things have changed - especially in the way Looksmart operates.
So what is the best way in to MSN these days?
thanks for any advice.
Though they don't say it until you try to submit several pages, you are allowed only one page per domain per 24 hours, and they do keep track.
I usually wait on Inktomi submissions until I have an ODP listing or some good links coming into the site. I have always gotten in, though I've sometimes had to wait a chunk of time. Lately, Inktomi has been pretty fast... at least about updating sites that are already in.
