Article a little old, so apologies if this has been posted before. Chief scientist on this project now works at Overture.

Sounds interesting, but I don't really see that as any different than Teoma...the article mentions they are going to discover links without using a starting point...there is no way to do that.

Even if they use a browser plugin to get the links - people will still be starting somewhere.

So how's this different from Teoma, and should I get all excited? My bet is no, since even in the article, they don't think they can displace Google....but perhaps for academics, it could be good.
