How to update for MSN

Is it just the usual way or is there something els

I maybe get 1% hits from MSN and 90% from Yahoo/Google, but why am I not listed good on MSN, it has also not spidered all my sites that could have something to do with that.

I must say Im not in there directory, because I dont want to pay for a listing.

p.s jesus I just typed in my url to see my page in MSN, out of 67 site I was the last, and the keyword was my whole url, thats realy wierd.

The results at MSN are powered by Overture, LookSmart, and Inktomi, in that order - but with the caveat that MSN sometimes won't list the stuff from one provider or another, and sell the top spots themselves.

In addition to that, they also apply their own filter for the LookSmart stuff as well as the Inktomi stuff, so the results will typically be different there than anywhere else.

All in all, it adds up to a pretty bad user experience, in the way of search results.

Paying Inktomi is one way to go - or make sure you have plenty of inbound links, and eventually you will get fully indexed into MSN.
