More MSN Page Previews?

I've started to notice some "page result preview" images on MSN result pages direct from [search.msn.com...] AND NOT via the IE toolbar. Toolbar previews have been disussed on WW before.

If available, one image appears in the featured listings section of the SERP. I have only noticed "page previews" for Microsoft products/services (City Guide, Expedia, eShop, etc.)

Am seeing more MSN Serp pages made up of six preview images.

Not quite sure what to make of it ... but I'm not impressed.

Now that I've actually seen that, I'm very unimpressed. It looks like a test to see if they can sell that to advertisers...those sample results are MSN only.

Have you seen them with screenshots of other pages? Hmm...wonder what they would charge for something like that.

And would that, versus a regular search listing, make anybody more or less likely to click?

I've seen them for other than MSN pages (but on MSN serps). They are showing a preview image of my site's home page, although the serp was pointing at a sub page. When I clicked on the home page preview image, it took me to the sub page.

Maybe it's time to re-design my home page with great big fonts that say "CLICK HERE NOW"
