For a while, but without the constant promotion they had when they were trying to break into the portal class they quickly fade from the public eye. How often do you hear Go.com or Snap.com mentioned now? Press? Nonexistent. No, my guess is that they rapidly deteriorate into a gigantic GoTo affiliate site -fifth tier SE traffic, if that.
>Tutte le SearchEngines portano a GoTo
Yes there is an Italian word.
"Motori di ricerca"
Tutti i motori di ricerca portano a GoTo.
P.S.
In fact the name of the best site (in Italian) on search engine optimization is:
[motoridiricerca.it...]
(But I am looking for news here..)
Our Website Advertising forum deals with that topic:
[webmasterworld.com...]

I am not very happy about losing the traffic that I have built up. I would like to post a complaint that nbci owes its members an opportunity to post html with redirects. Non graphical redirects would not take up much space and they could make amens with their members who put Xoom and Snap on the map.
Also, nbci is still taking new members. A friend I was discussing this with told me that she had just recieved an email from nbci asking her to utilize their free web space offering. I have asked her to forward the letter to see if I can make sense of it. Hopefully, she still has it. Maybe someone else has heard of this circulation.
I am in the process of moving my large site elsewhere, as I have been aware for some time that trouble is abrewing at nbci.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Yikes! I then searched under just games, and I got Goto results. *shakes his head*
Vacor I have three different web hosts. Some of them are very low cost. I avoid free web hosting like it's the plague. Some of my sites don't make a penny, and doubt they will for a long time but I would still not put them on a free host. Just my preference.
