Wisenut has new look SERP's

Check out Wisenut's SERP's they seem to reflect the look of Looksmart a little, hey maybe they'll update their index after god knows how long as well

Looks good, but as stated they haven't updated their index for ages.

I think I liked the old layout better...at least that was somewhat unique.

I think they'd improve things quite a bit by at least putting a blank line in between each listing. That ragged left margin is really messy too. It's not a very well designed page.

My guess is they'll run these SERP's in the looksmart results soon, similar to how Yahoo uses Google if no directory listings are found. Hence the look and feel being so Looksmartish. I'm hopeful anyway seeing as I think Looksmart will go down the pan, if they dont change their business model somehow!

Wisenut seems to be a work in progress... they've now added spaces in between the results. They still have some work to do on that left margin.

If you click "Submit a Site" at Wisenut, you are taken to the Zeal directory - but those Wisenut results are "NOT" the Zeal/Looksmart directory. Looks like they'll be switching to Looksmart pretty soon?

Hope they will do something with their index. It is a pittiful one for now. Perhaps useful for those who want to see what the web looked like two years ago.

Does anybody have referers from wisenut? Do anybody use wisenut at all?

Nope, no referrers and I don't use it either.

Looks like they're out for a crawl today. Hopefully an update is in the works.
