Chart Search Engine

Wouldn't this be useful?

What does everyone think of a chart search tool, which indexes HTML tables with text-only content?

I'm assuming that this doesn't exists, but I could be wrong.

It seems to me like a great way to find information of a certain type, especially statistics. The first 3 rows of the charts could be the summary in the search results.

I haven't seen an engine like that per se, but the advanced search options at some engines can give you all sorts of interesting data.

Especially if they support wild cards, I've been able to come up with some info that, given regular keyword searches with no advanced options, I would not have been able to find.
