I've seen it in a few sites as well. Perhaps it's their time to update the db? :)

Someone mentioned it here last week (not sure where). I'd heard they had some new ips?

65.116.145.132 - - [06/Jan/2002:07:25:19 -0500] "GET /quiltcloset/The HTTP/1.1" 404 221 "-" "Mozilla/4.0 compatible ZyBorg/1.0 (ZyBorg@WISEnutbot.com; [WISEnutbot.com)"...]

Going through everything. That folder has not been online since last spring, IP number is changed, it's still being looked for.

I haven't received a 404 yet. And since it's been here (last), there have been some pages removed.

Acting more like google, starts with the root, then goes thru the site from there.

Haven't noticed a new ip brett.

I'd rather see teoma now that AJ flipped the switch. Where is (she/he/it)?

Better than a spider. Traffic sighting, Saturday and Sunday. (Tiny, but it's a start.) Come on wisenut!

Yes, WiseNUT please do show the world that there is room for more than one search engine.

The thing is, I had some WN traffic a few months ago. It was definitely tiny, but looked to be building (though it's hard to tell at those single-digit levels). Then it dried up.

Greetings and gidday from downunder,

One of the interesting things about submitting manually is that when something changes, you can find out first hand.

I was checking the Lycos network worldwide and found out that some of the Lycos regional (Asian) ses have discontinued add url, stating that wisenut is now their spider.

See [search.lycos.co.jp...]

Haven't checked them all yet ... but might explain it.

As far as I know, Lycos Japan is the only Asian SE they've hooked up with. We were following this one over in the Asia and Pacific Region [webmasterworld.com] forum.
