2 questions here:

Is there anyone got a clue as how to get placement such as AOL(USA), where you're site would be right on top where the word "Sponsored links:" is. I noticed that a few competitors has a better edge compared to anyone with a better ranking. Under Sponsored links it tells you that it is provided by a third party. Question is how to get one and where?

2nd; And anyone has any info about AOL.UK. I submitted a site but I got this after submitting, "Go back to previous page". I couldn't tell if however the submission failed or not after two attempts.

I think AOL is ranking sites similar to Google. I optimized a site for Google and came on number 6 in last update. For the same keyword I rank number 1 and 2 in AOL. I am not sure though becuase I was already listed in ODP but just last month I paid Inktomi to include me. Search in AOL shows my ODP listing.

I am not sure if AOL spider web sites? Some of you might know.

Aol pulls ODP then inktomi if I'm remembering correctly. They also seem to rotate the algo all the time. I had a site #1 for 'web design', but it lasted only 2 weeks, and never saw another hit there again.

The only effective free way to get listed on Inktomi is through Goo, so far.

I have the same experience. I do not know why, but sometimes AOL lists a double listings (description from ODP).
