I use the toolbox from Alexa. I have ranking xxx with about 5000-6000 visitors a month and another site were i got my cabins on he told me that they have about 70 000 visitors a month and we got almost the same ranking Can anybody explane that for me maybe hes not telling the truth about the visitors How do they rank?

Many webmasters ban their user agent, becuase it is a serious waste of bandwidth...I'm not sure if/how this affects their numbers but it could be a possibility. As far as I know, it is the only spider that goes around on a massive scale with a stock fake referrer. The main reason I put them on my ban list.
While blocking or banning their software might or might not affect your ranking totals with them, I'm only guessing when I say this is one possibility.

Alexa only measures the number of visitors to your site that are using the Alexa toolbar. A site with less traffic that caters more toward people who might use Alexa could concievably have a higher ranking than a very high traffic site who caters to people who have never even heard of Alexa.
