Have anyone noticed that excite uses the first 2 result from magellan? If so, do we know how Magellan sorts their db?

Excite routinely sells the top two results under popular keywords - is that what you are seeing?

I suppose so. I did not know that the sell their top 2 results. That would explain my observation.

Ya, for a couple of years now. Mostly the very popular keywords and always tied to some other banner advertising campaign.
