After 2 years of being ignored by Excite but being spidered relentlessly by Architext, the last 2 days we seem to be getting significant referrals.

Anybody else notice any changes? Wondering whether this was a general re-index or that they have just discovered our sites?

Chiyo, we are also experiencing an increase in Excite traffic over the last fortnight speciffically with one domain. The strange thing is that my positions havent changed much.

Thought that it might be due to Excite running some succesful offline campaigns. Have they been? Anyone got any news on this?

Thanks,
pete

Does anyone know the last time excite updated their dB? It look recent on some searches, but ancient on others.

Thanks!

Well, they have been spidering and updating on the fly. We've not seen a major algo shift in months.

We are getting steady referrals on some very old pages. I sure can't get anything new into the db though.
