Is it worth building a .eu search engine? The .eu gTLD has around 1.77M domains registered but would enough of them have websites worth spidering? (I've written a few discovery algorithms and have more than a few confirmed .eu domains identified so far.)

Get there first, own the space, get lots of free "novelty" press, be big when .eu goes big.

I think it's always good to be there first. The problem being gettign there first requires a budget.
I'm just not entirely sure if indexing all of .eu domain will be enough to provide a good euro search.
