I know that Google and MSN currently have offerings to put their search engine on your site, and they'll show a visitor results based on their index of your site.

That is not enough for me, plus sometimes they don't even pick up pages that do exist.

Does anyone know of a good search utility that I could place on my site that will index all of my pages for me, without having to actually build search functionality from my MySQL database (long and laborious)

I was thinking free...
