Wisenut is realy a great SE now

Im realy impressed with wisenut I think they deliver some great results the last 2 month, its sad its not so popular.

Yep. I quite like Wisenet engine. Better than Looksmart, mmmmm I dunno, Looksmart is established though, and they have big plans for moving into the vertical engine marketplace.

I haven't heard much from Wisenut though - are they owned by someone else now?

No, their still owned by LookSmart. I don't think their search results are that great, there are a lot of good sites that still are not in the index.

ive never checked out wisenut before reading this thread, but i like it alot now because apparently they love my site in the rankings :)

Hmmm, its close but no cigar.

It passed my actor search (most search engines return lots of irrelevant and false movie links)

But, for our own site the listing was over 6 months out of date, and there were not so many returned results as their should be.

Results don't seem to be too bad for certain queries.

What is with their logo though? It looks like some little kid has been stabbed in the eye :-/

I just check there problem with adsense scrapers, its there but not as bad as on google and yahoo.
