Mooter appears to offer nothing new.

Hope Dipsie doesn't turn out to be such a wet fish.

Hm, the keyword stuff on Mooter *is* new. Welcome to WebmasterWorld, btw! You seem to have been paying attention to all the little fish.

Dipsie...is clever hype, and nothing, yet, but a splash page. I'm hoping my 3 year old can do a splash page by the time he hits kindergarten ;)

visual representation of data is not new, simplicity is. So is working with, rather than against; the human brain's preferred style of info processing and it's functional capacity, in presenting websearch results.

If you scratch a millimetre below the surface of Mooter(beyond the overt clustering), you may notice we actually use our understanding of implicit search patterns to personalise ranking. We currently only have it turned on in one part of the engine, as we are in beta and want to see if it pi**** people off, or is useful.
you've probably seen this story, he really caught the essence of it
