I really like the clean looks of the new Excite search results page. Getting rid of all those extra search links really makes the page cleaner and easier to use.
I may even start using it for searching again.

Also noticed this AM that the results have changed. When I get back to the office this PM, I'll be looking into it further.

They shuffled a bit for us, but no major movement. Looks like a link check clear out here.

I have seen titles and descriptions updated in a matter of days over the past couple of weeks. As a matter of fact, I changed a title last week and it was updated 2 days later. I have yet to see anything new added in quite sometime. Are folks here still actively doing work for this engine or has everyone given up? Out of all the engines out there at this time, Excite seems next to impossible to grasp.

Just noticed a big change in one site for us. The other are still the same as three weeks ago. Architext has been very busy on our sites. (more than normal)

"Excite seems next to impossible to grasp" Most of excite's spidering seems to be of sites that are already included in their index. You might want to try adding hidden links to pages that are all ready indexed, or if that's not possible, try exchanging links with someone that's in their database.

Sites submitted as long ago as end March have finally appeared in Excite this morning. This is about 1 week after architext gave my sites a really deep crawl - so obviously still active!

Architext has been all over my site like a rash recently, only had a couple of extra page appear in the DB though.
