I am looking for any code or public utilities that allow you to change the NT password via the web.

The issue I have is that we have an enterprise applicatin that runs on a NT server with local NT user accounts on that server (not Domain users). The enterprise application requires authentication against the NT user account. I need to provide a way for the users to change their NT password via a web environment. Any help suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

pettitk, welcome to wmw

I had a quick look around but could only come up with Microsoft's 'Web Administration for NT Server' tool (part of the NT Server Resource Kit). Although this allows remote admin functions, I don't think it'd allow the users to change their own passwords.

However, I'm no NT expert - has anyone else any ideas?

I think you can do that on a per user basis via the Domain User Manager. I've never set mine up that way, but supposedly its possible.
