I use a news ticker on my site that I include with SSI. I would like to let another site include my news ticker on his site as well.

I've read that the SSI Include will not work across seperate domains so, how can we do this? Thanks.

If you are willing to skip netscape 4 compatability, you can use an iframe such as this example [webmasterworld.com] we use here.

If not, you'll need to use Javascript and doc writes.

It is questionable which will be more compatabile: iframes or js. If you are feeling adventurous, you can use a combination of the two. Look around at some of the banner code used by Double Click, Burst, and other ad brokers.

Yes, as long as the files are on the same server, and you have the appropriate permissions.

The sites are not on the same server. :-(

Is there any other solution? Thanks

Isn't there a Perl mod that does this? Wasn't is LWP::something... or ??? I used to have a news deal that worked like SSI from some British news site. Seemed like there was a library I had to install that enabled me to do that. It was last year - my memory fails me.

Here is a freeware that should get the job done (I hope :) )

I installed and used the Executer script before, also. Really easy to use. In 'view source' it shows nothing except the call to the script.
