Say you log into the system and visit [cnn.com...] .. You then browse through their articles and decide to close the frame. The system drops you off at your point of entry (cnn.com) rather than the current document you are viewing.
I'm wondering how I can capture the current bottom URL and pass it to the top frame on load without complete re-reading the current document (example: Hotmail). All I can find about this topic simply states that I can not be done because of the security model present in Java/script.
Is it possible to get this working? I deal mostly with PHP/MySQL building data-driven web-based applications, so I'm not exactly a JavaScript guru. This very well could be something I simply looked over and was unable to attain the proper resource.
