We use this on our NT4 web server to send e-mails generated from forms on the website. It can be a little troublesome though.
The e-mails are only sent about 15 minutes after the call is sent to CDONTS .. sometimes the delay can be as much as five hours. Any ideas why or what we can do to improve this performance?

I would say try M$ WIN2000 Server with IIS 5.
Thats what I've used it on before and it seems to work fine.

I think you need to track down where the lag is. It sounds as if there is a mail pickup at some point. It may not be on your machine. Is your NT machine connected directly to the Internet, or is there a proxy server between it and the Internet? If you send mail from some mail client on the machine (such as Outlook Express), does it go out immediately?
