Personal Web Server & Windows XP problem

Works fine in w98 but in Xp...???

Hi to all...
I have a web page and use asp on a windows pc with PWS from the win98 cd-rom. Everything is working well. I publish my sites on the c:\inetpub\wwwroot and are working fine.
When i make the same on my winXp pc the page is not working. I get some errors.. Something is wrong with PWS of Xp...
Please help...

It looks like no one's come across your problem before... What specific errors are you getting?

Doesn't XP have a version of IIS? That would take the place of any PWS.

Yes thats what i use . ISS. I told it pws so everyody could understand it. So my roblem is with ISS. My pages aren't working..

Then, are you sure IIS is turned on? Can you see your website locally with http://localhost ? If that works then you probably need to make sure the security permissions are set properly to allow ASP pages to execute.

I think it has something to do with the permissions as you say because the asp pages say i have no permissions. So how can i change this ???

I don't have XP, so I don't know how much help I can be...does this happen if you log in as Admin? Sometimes the permissions set on specific webs don't let them run ASP...I'm shooting in the dark here

You said earlier you were getting errors...what are they?

I log everytime as admin...but...
