Hello folks,

I have to offer my visitors a liveChat pop-up to talk to the customer support staff, wich will be always at maximum only one person (guess who!).

I know thereīs many php bundles to download, but donīt know about perl ones. You guys do?

I thought about coding it up myself, but after I started using SquirrelMail, I became aware that thereīs a lot of great stuff already coded out there.

If itīs too simple, I prefer to code it up myself. The fact is that I donīt know how to implement the client-pull chat on that.

What do you guys suggest me?

Thanks a lot!

If you're a bit of a coder you might want to have a look at Sajax. It's basically a simplified version of Ajax. If you go to their site and view the examples, I think you will find the "Graffiti Wall" quite interesing. With a little bit of hacking, it should make quite a good live chat script. Plus it will work in several different languages, including Perl.
