We're finding that the demand for Interchange site development is increasing at a rapid rate. Interchange is an open source application server written in Perl and commonly used for Ecommerce.

The problem is that only a handfull of people in the world are competent in developing on this platform. So the need for developers heavily outweighs the resources.

So has anybody else seen this increase? And are you a closet Interchange developer. Exciting times ahead for Interchnage developers.

I was looking at it the other week, trying to find a perl alternative to OSCommerce. I think anyone who has experience in templating tools (TT2, Mason) should be able to pick up Interchange pretty quickly.

Yeah, Mason. Untill recently hadn't heard of it much. Although it does of course power Amazon.
