Hi just starting out with the great program that ANDREAS has created. I'm using it to autostart a catologue on CD with PHP/MySql capabilities.

I'm rather confused though as how to know what needs to be added to my 'final' output CD. I've downloaded the program and extracted all. I understand I need to add database files and my php/hmtl pages but it doesn't run for me.

I burned a CD containing the whole WAMPonCD folder and it shows the whole folder when I click on start IE opens with the CLICK HERE but then returns a [localhost:8181...] PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED.

Appreciate step-by-step instructions to getting this working. Yes, I have read the README text but apparently I'm still not able to figure out exactly how to get it running properly.

help greatly appreciated.
thanks.

Ok, apparently it works in my computer only. When trying on a different computer not running PHP/MySQL/APache the files do not auto start. It brings my to a FINISHED START_ and then in the box says: OFF

what does this mean?
thanks

Did you try calling the start.pl manually on that maschine? If yes, could you provide some more information on error messages and what kind of system it is.

Also you might want to check the error logs that should be in your %%TEMP%%/amp directory. I hope my memory serves right and there really are some error logs ;-)

The machines that I am having trouble with are running Win98 and Win2000.

What operating systems will the CD not work with?

Ok, it's definetly not available for WINDOWS98 machines (as fas my testing goes). Is there a way to possibly change this?

Also, I had one computer running XP that it loaded all programs but when the main page (index.php) was to be displayed it said page cannot be found. On other XP machines it runs okay though. What can be the problem with page not found?

thanks for you help with this.
