im looking for a script (perl or php) that will not only gather and archive my referers but allow me to display them as a "Top 5-10" ect

like say google.com is my best/top referer
yahoo.com my second and
excite.com my 3rd
(just using these as examples)

it would show something like this:

Top 3 Referers
1. Google.com
2. Yahoo.com
3. Excite.com

anyone have/know of one like that?
thanx alot

Welcome to WebmasterWorld KoRnDragon,

As far as gathering goes, they are in your logs. You could have a log parsing script but there are many packages out there that do this.

faststats
webtrends
nettracker

Any particular reason you want a script to do it?
I did find a bunch at hotscripts.com searching for either "log parser" or "referrer".

I am not sure if I understood you 100%, however you might wanna look into Logitpro, it is pretty nice script.. It does lacks few features that hardcore SEO might want, however for basic purpose, it does the job.

hope this helps.

Let me know if you are looking for something more specific and I will do my best to look it up.

hey jatar_k and NeedScripts

i want this as a type of "reward" for my affiliates sorta like when large kompanies pay money to get their website at the top of search engine's lists when searching for keywords

i would also like it (in admin or where ever) to display ALL my referers (domains and such - subdomains arent that important)

and have the option to change the number of referer listed (on the page i choose to include them on)

and when i do getthis script where is my log path? ive seen math scripts tell u need the path but whats the standard path for servers? (unix server)

thanx alot!
