I am looking for a simple script which allows me to add the prices of products and the respective quantities (depending on the user's selection) on a page, to generate total, then depending on the 4 options of shipping, adds shipping charges to it, to generate final total. These totals will be displayed in a text box and should also be passed on to the formmail script when the user submits.

Anyone knows how to do it? Do I have do this in javascript or some free scripts are available?

You can do all of that using javascript easily enough. I would look on google for javascript calculator scripts or something. I have written a bunch but don't know where you can find a premade one.

If you plan to use UPS then you may want to visit

[ups.com...]

for a variety of options on integrating their shipping process into your business.

If this doesn't do it for you then you should be looking for a shopping cart with a robust shipping module built in. You can scan through a bunch of scripts at www.hotscripts.com. They may have something there.
