Newspro help

images displayed with posts

Hey,
is there any way to configure Newspro (Amphibianweb) to display a set image for each user's update they post? I would like it so when a user posts, a certain image is displayed at the top of the update, depending on which user posted. I've seen it before on other sites.

If not is there any other news CGI (Free) that would do this?

I had a look in ndisplay.pl but couldn't find anything (I'm pretty much a beginner at CGI).

And I wouldn't mind doing it manually if there was no other option.

I looked around on google a bit, have you tried this site? He references a forum for help but it is only in german. He also lists his email address for questions.
