I have an image i want a potential client to review.

Since I haven't entered into a formal agreement with them, I wanted to make sure that they couldn't copy the image by direct linking to it, when I sent them to the page on the web to view the image or copy the image through the right click menu.

Thanks in advance.

You will be better off to put a watermark across the image to protect your property. If the browser turns off any scripting your security goes off with it. One could use a browser called lynx which doesn't have any scripting capability to download your graphic if they wanted it.

The watermark also is another place to put your company logo so it leaves an impression in there mind of your logo while they are looking over your graphic with a fine tooth comb. They won't know why but the only name they will think of with graphics is yours.

Good luck

The best way to protect your images in not to put them on the Web ;). But, to put it shortly, efforts are futile.

Hope that helps!

Happy coding! :)
