Hi Steve,

If I were you, I would exchange links instead of buying them. I think it's better that way.

but it takes too much time.
i am pr5 now and get about 70 links not indexed yet.

why you want to become a PR7.

I would much rather be PR4 and make money, then be PR7 and sit around gloating on my ego.

higher PR does NOT mean more traffic.

the sites on top of me all have pr5 or 6. without pr I can not compete.
I am aggresively getting links 10/day. but index takes time. when can I be pr6?
someone said he would sell his wife for pr6.
but my wife is so pretty ;-)))

as I write this, I get emails flowing in to exchange links with me.
I may have 15 links/day growing....
how can you get 300 in 2 days...
hmmmm...
15/day, 1000 need 70 days, 2 months! and 2 more months to be indexed ...

yes we do email related sites' owner for mutual link. but some are not the webmaster and takes one month to edit.

anyway it's like making a baby...

I wish link development was that enjoyable.

That's alright... That means you could sell her even for pr7...
Otherwise (so ugly ;-((() you couldn't sell her even for pr0

will I get pr6 with/without the pr7 sponsoring link?
I've seen a lot of pr6 pages without pr7, and even without pr6 links...
just many pr5 and lower pr links...
In average, a pr7 link is equivalent to 6 or 7 pr6 links, or to 40 or 50 pr5 links

what I am thinking, the other way around, is to get pr6 or pr7 and then buy a pretty girl ;-))

thanks for the #, Alcogooglic.
pr7 is really, really hard, unless you have some pr7 support you.

my staff in China will have to work several months to help me do the link development....

Steve

DaveN is right: a properly optimized with only a PR of 3 or 4 often does a lot better than a site with pr 6 or 7

We see it all the time. PR is not a miracle solution.

You are much better off to optimize your site with good, targeted content than trying to "buy" PR... for the sake of Pr.

Content is king and is highly rewarded by Google.
