Wow, we just keep marching onward and upward! We are now 360+ sites.
The next refresh will be early next week. As per usual, we will probably have a rush of site additions that forces me to delay the update a few days to validate the new ones. I am aiming for bright & shinny monday morning (If it holds true to form, that means thursday
This time we are moving to four pages.
Because we are getting quite a bit of attention and starting to see real results, the guidelines for participation are getting tighter and tighter:
Romans, countrymen, let me reiterate:
- no redirected domains.
- english language pages only.
- only .com, .net, .org domains from here on out.
- no freeservers (xoom, geocities, tripod, hypermart...etc).
- no highly controversial sites, such as political ad sites.
- no adult of any nature shape or form - we are ruthless on this one.
- multiple sub-domains will be evaluated on a per-case basis. www. bob.com is ok, but billy.bob.com is questionable. We will only allow a few subdomains per large sites.
Anything else that I haven't thought of, that would appear to put the program at risk.
Small request: if your email is on an auto-responder, please change it. Consider 350+sites, times five pages, times xx auto responders (ouch).
This is not a ffa system, nor a bulk links program, this is the highest quality, human maintained link exchange program on the net. I've said it before, there is risk in association, and I will do everything in my power to maintain the integrity of this program. Its not a get-rich-quick scheme, its a get-rich-slow scheme.
New Message Boards:
I've added Google, Inktomi, and Fast (Alltheweb.com) message boards to the forums system. These boards are for forum members only and you must signin to the forum to view them. If you have time to drop in and help us get them started - much appreciated.
Thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback on this program. I've gotten 40-50 emails saying people are starting to notice increases in their rankings. I would be very interested in hearing how you feel the program is progressing. Are we on the right track? Can I do anything better or different? Is it working for you?
Lastly, thank you to all those in the last couple of days who've offered incredible support during the toughest days of my promotion career. On Friday last week, we had our entire client base removed from Altavista (partial details in the forum). In those last few days, two dozen people have offered free domains, dialup accounts, ftp access, home page links, free promo services, and their time in an effort to help us get back on our feet. The amount, and depth of support has stunned me - I had no idea and am quite humbled by it. It is an honor to be part of this community. I know that in the end, this has been one of the most positive experiences I've had on the net. Thank you.
