SEO Elite analyzes sites for their backlinks (and several other types of research), and can tell you which sites you should be contacting for link swaps, blog postings, etc., based on pagerank, serp position, etc. ...
Arelis is more for the actual process of organizing & maintaining the link request email, etc. It can also be used for searching for link partners, but IMO, doesn't offer anywhere near the research options that SEO Elite does ...
FYI ... I use both, and feel that they compliment each other very well :-)
There are lots of good procucts out there and often it comes down to using what feels most comfortable to you. Download some demos and give them a spin, then report back what you found.
;)
I've tried both. Arelis tends to crawl duplicate sites, thus, I still have to manually dissect the sites being gathered thru Arelis.
Seo elite has another function.
I say you try both, that's the time, you will know its difference.
good luck.
What software iyo do you think can build the most back links more and in a faster time.
You can think of the potential links you can get as being arranged from best to worst. (The worst doesn't necessarily mean detrimental, it more likely means the link is worthless.) To get the most links you have to include the worst of those. To get the best links you focus on those sites that are at the best end of the scale and ignore those at the bottom end of the scale.
The value in softs like SEO Elite is their ability to help you determine the best sites to get links from the worst sites to get links from.
In other words, concentrate on the quality settings of the softs and not their speed settings. Quality settings are those limiting constraints that you apply.
In SEO, if all you concentrate on is going fast, sometimes you'll just spin your wheels, dig a rut, and go nowhere.
As MB said, either software can get you into trouble if you use it the wrong way. Programs don't hurt websites, people hurt websites. ;-)
Taking off my moderator hat for a minute (which means the following is a personal opinion and should be taken as such), I think SEO Elite has a lot of decent functions from a backlink analysis standpoint. That said, I wouldn't use *either* to automatically develop links (or take "SEO advice" from)... spend your time getting quality links (that doesn't necc. mean 100% one way links). Any site you'd *want* a link from (recip *or* one way) is going to recognize and promptly trash a bot generated email.
