Want to buy text links - where to get started

Hello

I am new to internet marketing. I have couple of websites and all my traffic comes only from adwords. Although my sites are listed on all search engines - but I dont get any natural traffic.

I want to buy text links on websites on similar topics like mine. Its not to improve my page rank or anything but just to get more traffic.

I have absolutely no idea where to get started. Can anyone throw some light.

I'd start by contacting related, but non-competing sites. Many of them may be interested in helping you out. There are other ways as well, there are some ad networks set up for individuals to sell and buy ads. I can't remember the names right now, but someone else here might be able to help.
