Okay, I have been busting my behind on a linking program, and I can't seem to make a dent.

My 400 page site now has almost 3000 links on yahoo, but we are still a PR 5, and sometimes a PR 4 when you hit certain datacenters.

I run a great content site, and I really want to take it to the next step.

Any suggestions or motivating stories about how it will all work out?

Thanks.

How old is your site? You might just have to wait for the next PR and Link Updates?

Are those one-way links?

I'm sorry. I should have given more background.

My site is 3 years old. While I do have many one way Inbound links via articles, I also have a lot of reciprocal links on resource pages for visitors.

What is the problem exactly?

Don't look at the PR. Concern yourself with ranking better on many different terms.

The one-way links are going to be almost soley responsible for the PR that you do have, you may as well forget about reciprocal links now, they are useless and possibly worse than useless.

Concentrate upon creating a website of a high quality, and the inbound one-way links you've got should be enough to make the investement start to pay dividends.

I second that - how are your ranks/traffic from the engines doing?
