I have a small query about a cache I encountered recently. I was recently trying to submit one of my Uk based web site in a directory.
When i tried to check the cache using "cached snapshot of the page" option i saw a entirely different looking site.
Can anyone give me any idea why this is happening.
THANKS IN ADVANCE

[edit reason] No urls, thanks. See TOS [webmasterworld.com] [/edit]
Sorry about putting in the url. Will be more careful in future. The site content displayed in the cache as well as the site design are totally different from what i see when i type in the URL in the browser.
I will surely check up and post my findings here.
Thanks a lot for your help and your reference to archive.com. Was not aware of this resource.
Regards
If not, then try just waiting a while... on rare occasions I have seen a search engine actually simply make a mistake (who knows how) and index the wrong page, provide the wrong pagerank, etc. I have even seen incorrect inbound links but this is usually resolved fast... no later than a month.
