What is a good program to maintain and check links (to make sure they are still linked to us.) Just looking for a good link management program.

Thanks,
Catnip

Go to Hotscripts and you'll find several good PHP, ASP or PERL scripts that will help you out with this. I would rely on them to much though, sometimes your links will be moved to a new web page or the file name is changed.

Try Link Wrangler
It's great because even if the links page or filename changes it will find them.

Still on topic...

I will check out HotScripts, but it would be great if someone out there who is currently using reciprocal like manager software could recommend something. If you really like what you are using, tell the rest of us why.

I'm looking for something with the following...

CGI (If possible)
Automatically verifies E-Mails of partners at signup
Automatically verify your link on partner site at signup
Allow admin to turn on/off automatic approval of signups
Automatically checks links on partners sites periodically (preferrably without cron)
Automatically notifies admin when partner joins, partner removes link
Automatically removes partners link when they remove yours (temporarily)
Sends partner e-mail requesting they put your link back up
Automatically deletes partners link after admin configurable time period if they do not put your link back up

That's what I can think of for now. It's a long list, I know. But I am really looking for something that I can SET & FORGET. I have very little time and I have to use it wisely, as we all do.

So, if you have any suggestions, please post them. I have spent hours already looking for something that fits this general description with no luck yet!

Thanks,
Chris

Anyone use AutoLinksPro?

I've read a couple of poor reviews about them on another site, but these were over a year ago. They look really good. I'd like to know what anyone thinks.

Cheers,

Tim

Me Too! I have spent a lot of time looking for a really great script that does all I need it to, but without luck. If anybody out there knows, there are at least 2 people here interested in the answer and I'm betting there's a few more.
