Hi adamnichols45,

It all depends on the site and the page that will host your link!

Spending almost $1000 in order just to get listed in the search engines is too much IMO.

- What's the pagerank of the site you are refering to?
- What's the pagerank of the specific page(s) your link will be hosted on?
- Will you be the only link on that page(s)
- Is the site AND the page(s) relevant with your site's content?

Submitting to the Yahoo directory will get you listed in Google + other directory links. I would never in my right mind spend $1k to get into G.

And noone knows what a sites pagerank is, only a restricted amount of those who work for G. What you see on the toolbar is a VERY rough estimate at best.
