Link Popularity History

Is there any way to tell how many links the major search engines had indexed for my site 6 months ago? 3 months ago? 1 month ago?

I don't think so, the only way that I can think you can do this is to create your own database with your link popularity history information.

No. To do that someone would have to archive the entire Search Engine database. Nobody does that.
