You may want to specify what industry the site is related to, in order to get a more focused and targeted list/answer.

Also, try searching on your preferred SE for sites related to that industry, you'll probably find a substantial amount depending which field you're in.

Yes, there's a great list in the Library [webmasterworld.com]. You may want to dig around in there. Every forum area has it's own Library of important posts. The Library is one of the more important resources. You'll find the link near the top, right next to the Charter link.
