How to manage links

Hi All

I am currently developing a few high content sites. I want to cross link some of them but not over do it.

I was about to start a spreadsheet to manage this then thought there must be software, which can do this, better.

Can anybody recommend a software to this, I don’t want to build a links page, just manage the data for the site links.

TBO all I use is spreadsheet and I manage quiet a few sites

i use a spreadsheet too - but i just started trying arelis downloadable from ht*p://www.axandra.com/arelis/index.htm - seems alright - but I haven't used it enought to say whether it's really good or not, it searches for suitable sites etc - don't know if it's quite what you're after but thought i'd mention it

I wouldn't feel happy about using any tool that automates linking like arelis

i still manage my links manually - i've only tested arelis to find suitbable sites and keep track of the status, whether i've emailed them etc - i wouldn't use it to generate a links page / directory personally I don't really like the look of them and in most cases I've seen (some exceptions) they don't seem to carry all that much PR - google, a spreadsheet, and a bit of HTML writing do the job just as well...

I have taken a quick look at Arelis.

I agree it is quite a cool tool, however I wont use it to generate any pages. This is best done by hand.

Don't use programs like those!

I think it's not good to use them. I read here a guy in UK got his website suspended for spam because he used one of this sofwares!
