What is the Lag Between Receiving Clicks & Being Reported in AdCenter

How long do I need to wait

Starting today I'm going to manually add 10 to 20 orders a day. No bulk uploads - I don't want to get stressed (been there done that!). No stress from multiple rejections - if ads gets disallowed I won't be too upset as I havn't wasted a lot of time. Step by step I can build on traffic each day and keep a check on ROI.

This morning I set up 8 orders, all approved and ready to hit MSN tomorrow. I see the ads live but see no clicks reported in Adcenter. I thus wondered how long I have to wait until I see data in my account?

Also - I do remember somewhere that someone on this forum said they had removed an ad and it had taken some time for this to happen (thus costing them when in effect they had cancelled the order hours in the past)and the reports weren't live or even a few hours behind.

Any advice on what the standard lag is on Adcenter?

All i can say is I have had a nightmare with my account -- There was about a week lag between getting a click and getting billed for that click.

I think you can run a report to show the previous day's clicks...That is the best I have found.

Well it's a good 6 hours since the ads went live and I have NO idea how much I am spending!

I guess this is why it is called Beta - although I would have thought this was a prime thing to sort out early on...what do I know

For us the only thing near current reporting is to run a "keyword performance" report for yesterday. This appears to give accurate reports.

When you click on Accounts & Billing you can see your "Balance". I think this figure is updated regularly.

Zygoot you're dead right.

If you click on Billing in Billing and Accounts you will see that your latest invoice doesn't have a number but in fact is called "pending". This is hyperlinked to a pdf invoice - a work in progress. Here I can clearly see how much I have paid for certain clicks. I like it as a way on keeping on top of things until the reporting gets up to speed.
