Any campaigns actually started yet?

I setup my AdCenter campaign (two actually) on Monday and so far they are both still labelled "Submitted" nothing has been approved or denied, and obviously no impressions or clicks..

How long does this thing actually take, I only have a few hundred keywords total?

I have only 10 keywords submitted...and still pending approval since monday..

I am looking forward to see how the campain will pan out.

It appears I've gotten at least one approval because I'm receiving sales from that campaign. However, the ad and keywords still show as "pending." Very odd.

You gotta love being a beta tester!

Keep at it. adCenter works. We've been running campaigns for several months. Very low cost-per-click. Where we pay $2 in Google, we get clicks for 5c in adCenter. The cost-per-conversion is $15 in Google and $3 in adCenter.

We signed up Monday, submitted our first ads right away.

As of this afternoon, they're running... and for pharmaceutical terms... that in mind, I'm impressed with how little time it took.

I'm with an agency managing several accounts-- we finished setting up 9 accounts over the last 3 days. The first account that was set-up is still pending and the last account I set-up has already gone live and is showing impressions and clicks. They aren't getting approved in the order that they were submitted to the system. I put an order in this morning and it's live right now.

Several of the campaigns that are in 'pending' status are showing click results through Google Analytics. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Does anyone happen to know where the ads are appearing?

We've had several people search on MSN for the terms that say they are live and are showing results via AdCenter, but we haven't been able to find the actual PPC Advertisements.

(We have the budget set to run until depleted)

We setup new account on Monday including ads and kw's still showing pending but are actually live on MSN, so based on that it took 3 1/2 days. We are about to launch second account and will be interesting to see how long it takes now that the big rush is done.

I uploaded 5 test words on Monday, and they still say pending, but show impressions. When I checked for my ads on
[adcenter.search.msn.com...]
I found that my ad was running.

Unfortunately, I had to shut the campaign down because it looks like I misused the {param1} filed in the URL. adCenter does not update ad changes quickly so I will just give it a day or two and hope that the correction is picked up.

hello,
i wanted to let you know that it's a known issue on our end that in some cases your ads and keywords are running even though the adCenter tool says they're pending. we're working to fix this and i'll let you know here when this is resolved.

thanks,

Thanks adCenter411 - this is what I'm experiencing and it's confusing. I'm reluntant to add anymore keywords until I get that "feel good" experience about submitting keywords and ads and seeing them approved in a timely fashion.

Anyway I'm getting some clicks but as it says pending approval I'm still thinking maybe they will be stopped.

Let us know when this is fixed.

Thanks

Anyone still waiting on approval? I am, has been a good few days. Not sure if I was missed out or anything.

I added another account last night and everything is live this morning. Looks like things are pretty quick including crawling new sites. Y and G could take note of the faster inclusion of new well done sites.

I had set-up 9 accounts... the ones that were pending finally went through yesterday, but 95% of the keywords were rejected. Anyone else having the same issue with large % of keywords getting rejected?

I'm having anywhere from 50-70% of keywords getting rejected. I haven't gotten up to 95% yet, but I'm sure it's coming.

Nanny911, I mean adCenter411, :-)
Can you give us any hope that the keyword approval process will be easier in the next release?
We are eager to share lots more revenue with MSN.

LOL teatime, i just watched that show for the first time last week. that is one tough nanny - no relation though. ;)

i have a couple things to let all of you know. first of all, we definitely hear your frustrations with the approval process. hammering out the editorial processes are high on our list. we're still building out how these work, making the processes more robust, and with each release we expect more improvements.

that said, while we're working on improvements, the best way for you to get your ads and keywords out of "rejected" status is to contact our support team [support.adcenter.msn.com] and fill out the appeals template.

another thing re: what happens when you first submit your ads and keywords (this gets us back to the top of this thread).

1. once you submit your ads, they go live.
2. they remain live while they're in the queue pending review. we have a big backlog right now, so this could be a couple days.
3. once they're reviewed they're either rejected or approved.

long story short, your ads stay live while pending approval.

please let me know if you have questions and i'll do my best to answer. and as always, keep your feedback coming.

thanks,
adCenter411

Submitting the appeals is one thing. Getting a reply on them is another.

I submitted 11 on Tuesday and I've only heard back on one. Every single rejected keyword was approved. I need to submit about 30 more but I've been waiting to see if a more streamlined process would be developed. I guess not.

AWA---what should I do about expediting this process. I understand you're trying to streamline it. But can't you get some more people on review to fix the backup?

Also, you opened up signups again today. If you can't handle the volume of approvals right now, why would you add more accounts to the problem?

My ads are all "submitted" for the past 7 days, but the ads are showing and I am getting clicks.

Constructive suggestion 1:
When keywords have a status of "rejected", present them on a screen from which we can copy and paste. Presently you can't copy them, so, in order to populate your appeals spreadsheet, you must type them, or visually match them to a spreadsheet that you're keeping externally to Adcenter. Fun!

Constructive suggestion 2:
If the algorithm which rejects keywords is currently doing a poor job, how about having each batch of rejections automatically get a quick human look-over before they are marked as rejected? At least until the algorithm is improved.

Excellent contructive suggestions, Teatime. I agree with both of them.

I should learn from your example and no post when I'm frustrated.

Teatime--perhaps you should post your suggestions in the Adcenter Wish List.

My ad is "Submitted" for 4 days already and I am getting no clicks, no impressions, nothing...

The price estimation tool says that my average position is "1.00" and I should be getting 400 clicks a day. How much longer do I have to wait until I can see some traffic?

rado-

your ad is probably showing. some stats in certain areas take quite a while to update

check to see if your ads are running here:

[adcenter.search.msn.com...]

Nope, my ads are not there. I am also recording stats about my incoming traffic and there are no clicks coming from msn.

I have noticed that the only locales I can select are French-France and English-Singapore. I wonder whether that may be the reason why it does not work.

How big is the AdCenter team? After 5 days, my campaign is still "Submitted", I am receiving no traffic, while being ranked #1 and get no responses from the support.

Something tells me MSN team go themselves in way over their head. We cant even get to submitting keywords. We got the invite on Tuesday, signed up for the quick launch and...nothing yet. still waiting. Would really like to get moving since the old Yahoo/MSN combo was good portion of our qualified traffic.

I used QuickLaunch (requested yesterday and received my reply) and uploaded my ads from Adwords as requested last night, talked to my rep today (very nice and eager to help) and my ads are showing this afternoon already. It was much faster than I ever anticipated.
