How did I receive 50+ clicks since Friday when my ads were paused?
Easy: Either my ads did not get paused or the reports on Friday were nowhere near accurate.
This is a mess MSN! A freaking mess!
Get your reports working - it's been 5 months! Why is this so hard for you?
I have been running the campaign performance report with a date range of current month and and reporting by day.
It appears my stats for the various campaigns I am running are being updated to the previous day. Of course, I cannot confirm this, however, I have been monitoring over the last 10 days or so.
Stats (clicks, costs, etc.) have not changed (increased) for dates older than 2 days. So, for example, today (5/30), my stats for 5/28, 5/27, 5/26, 5/25 were the same as the reports I pulled yesterday. This is telling me (hopefully) that these stats are updated and accurate.
Assuming this, I simply update 1 day late (tommorrow, I will assume my 5/29 stats are updated).
This has been consistent for all my campaigns for the last 10 days or so.
Of course, I have no verification these are updated and final stats (hopefully MSN won't drop a big "dump" of clicks/costs on day prior). But, this is about all I have to go by.
1. There is no date range associated with the data - I had basically assumed it was through the previous day but I appears to be almost a week old in my case.
2. Why are there no totals for the columns?
Fix that data that loads when you sign in or remove it from the main page. It's not accurate data and it's very deceptive.
I ccompletely agree with you, the stats should match up, if the reports can show accurate data up to a specific date - then all stats displaying clicks, cost, etc. should show this data up to that point.
Put a message in the adcenter that says
"All data accurate up to ...." or something so that we know data to X date/time is good.
thanks!
