When I try and upload KWs it says: 'To upload information, please upload a .xls or Csv file.'

Of course I am uploading it in an .xls file, but it can't figure that out. So, I try a csv file..same result. I am pretty amazed by the amount of problems with AdCenter.

How many keywords are you uploading? takes 10K at a time.

I tried to upload keywords a month ago and it just kept giving me errors. It was so frustrating that I didnt try after that. Now at least they take bulk word submissions. Anyone played around with the 'parameters' function yet?

Yes the parameters function is one thing that actually seems to be working properly.

I got the 'To upload information, please upload a .xls or csv file.' error when I first started uploading keywords too. In my case, it went away when I closed out the Excel spreadsheet first before clicking the import button.

Yes I was informed by our rep to be sure and close the excel file first before you import it. It definitely does not fix the issue, but it makes it somewhat better. Instead of getting errors 9 out of 10 times, you get errors 4 out of 10 times.

hi everyone,
just wanted to let you know we're aware that adCenter's import functionality is one of your biggest pain points, and our development team is working to make it better and easier to use. i don't have an eta on this improvement, but i wanted to let you know we're looking at it, and when i find out when these issues will be fixed, i'll post here.

thanks,

Thanks adCenter411.
It good that we have a keyword box now where we can dump keywords and not have only the upload/one keyword at a time feature to add keywords. Will try uploading keywords after closing the excel sheet. Thanks guys.
