A long wait for campaign statistics

Nothing for days

I signed up with an adCenter account on Wednesday. It's Sunday and, while my ads are running and clearly generating some traffic (how much?) I have zero keyword statistics and nothing on performance of different ads. I don't even know how much money I've actually spent.

What little I know about my adCenter account I have discovered by using Google Analytics.

That's my number one gripe. I need stats, close to real time as possible.

Click on Accounts & Billing. I see my balance rise throughout the day.

I have. The amount is a small fraction of what it probably ought to be.

Yep, reporting is a mess. Should be their #1 priority. Have no idea how up to date that is.

Started campaigns on Wednesday and still get:

There is no data available for the criteria you selected.

There are a lot of people who are going to get a big billing surprise.

All I know is, to be on the safe side, make sure you can see your clicks in real time outside of AdCenter so you can at least know how many clicks you are getting.

You have to be VERY careful. Billing was almost a week behind for me at one point and it hit me HARD.

I have signed up a few hours ago (Over 8 hours)and I got the receipt from MSN that they have charged 5 USD for activation fee, and I logged to check the performance, there is no any click. The ads has approved and no impression and click, Do I need to wait for a while?

I run into the problem on the start of each month. Give it a day or two and things should show up in that report.

Finally I've got some reports from adCenter, as of this afternoon (Monday). The charts and graphs are pretty good; the numbers seem right, though I don't have much confidence in them just yet.

One new issue: A big splash at the beginning, in terms of both number of impressions and number of clicks, and then a steep (and proportional) dropoff. Don't know why, as there seems not much competition for the keywords I selected.

Time will tell.

I signed up with AdCenter on Friday, my keywords have been approved and my campaign has yet to start. What gives here? How long is a normal wait before the advertising begins?

I signed up with AdCenter after being scammed by click fraud at Overture. Now I'm having second thoughts about this whole PPC process.

are your campaigns running yet? one question- is it that you're not seeing your ads, or that you're not seeing impressions and clicks in adCenter? we unfortunately have some reporting delays, so that your campaign shoudl be running, and the data isn't in adCenter yet.

Adcenter - that appears to be the reason, a delay in implementation v. the reporting showing up. Everything seems to be working now but I must say that this is disconcerting not to have real time stats and that the stats in one area do not correspond with the others, i.e., the summary page says one thing for impressions and clicks while the campaign page gives apparently older information. This is confusing to say the least.
