the ypc - ylocal inventory is going to be sponsorship based. in other words this is not algo generated business profiles, but preferred placement probably as a business card that is served in traditional ppc positions above algo based result sets.
this does not mean however that they don't need a solution for richer data collection and better organic distribution of that structured and rich advertiser data.
Yet Yahoo goes into cahoots with them - god it makes me sick, these leaches would sell their mothers to make a profit.
