Forum software that you can post to with email...

I have an old email list I'd like to transform into a forum because I believe it would be less maintenance. Problem is, there are a lot of old timers who still prefer to do everything by e-mail.

Does anyone know of a good bulletin board software (preferably in php with mysql database backend) that will do this? I'm not even sure what to search for.

Hmm...it appears that mailarc will take email messages and make them into a forum, but it won't go the other way: as in dump forum posts to email so people who refuse to do forums can do all with email.

Yeah, those email only members would have to be registered at the forums and subscribe to a "daily digest" via email notification via preferences. May not be what you're lookin' for.
