how to include one web site in the google search?

i am planning to create my own personal web site. i want to include that web site for general public search in the google. if public searches my site in the google, google has to show my web site in the list. how to do that? i have to pay any fees to google for that? if anyone knows pls reply. i appreciate all ur help. thanks.

Hi subu_kzy and welcome to WebmasterWorld.
The short answer is that you should get some relevant sites to link to yours. This can be a link from a friend with a related site, a Yahoo! Directory listing, etc.
A good starting point also would be to read Google's Webmaster Guidelines [google.com]
