Have almost 2 million pages viewed - now what?

I have a website that is currently enjoying over 5000 unique visits a day, and totals nearly 2 million pages viewed per month, but I have no clue how much a site like that is worth or how to exploit the traffic....

...I am advertising, but via an advertising firm who takes a 40-60% cut....and so we are barely making enough to pay for the bandwidth the site uses.

I've looked into selling it, finding monthly advertisers, etc, ...invested many hours and haven't gotten anything significant. I have read posts from people, who have a fraction of the traffic I have, and they seem to be making very good money from it.

Can someone help me out on this? I've never worked on this aspect of a site before, so I am clueless - not to mention aggravated knowing I might be sitting on a valuable opportunity to FINALLY earn a return for all the work invested.

Have you looked into Googles Adsense program? You might be able to ghet some additional income from that if your site qualifies.
